Imperial Wharf, Chelsea, London |
| Engineer: |
P.L. Ross |
| Value: |
Approximately £8m |
The entire Imperial Wharf development runs to about 1,000 dwellings constructed in low and medium
rise blocks of apartments on the site of a former gas works. The site, which was highly contaminated
for many years was remediated prior to construction.
We designed phases E and F comprising a crescent of 4-storey town houses over a basement and a block
of Housing Association apartments. The town houses are constructed of reinforced concrete and the
apartments in timber frame.
