Wokingham Church Hall |
| Engineer: |

| Value: |
£850k |
A steel frame was chosen as the structural solution for this new church hall because an open
plan ground floor was needed with an office zone above on first floor and a storage area within the loft at
second floor. So the whole structure was conceived as an A-frame transfer structure.
The building lies hard against a burial site and listed trees, therefore a very careful piled foundation was
used with high level ground beams.
